Accounting Job Interview Guide

Accounting is a specialized field, and qualifications for accounting jobs are explicitly for accounting graduates. Some jobs only require a degree, but higher positions require you to be a Certified Public Accountant, others even require more than that. But a higher position in one company does not necessarily equate to a high salary. It will depend on the kind of industry the company is in. Since all companies hire accountants, next to the job description, it is wise to do your research on the salary they offer. Of course you do not ask the interviewer outright (it will depend on the mood during the interview), but (discreetly) asking around for the salary range helps you decide whether to go for it, or look elsewhere.
