Starting from the Bottom
![]()
Looking for an accounting job, but have no previous accounting experience? You may want to target smaller firms first, and expect to be relieved after tax season. Be open and have the willingness to do simple tasks. Most successful executives start at the bottom as clerks or assistants. Be an apprentice and learn from the expert accounting executive. You may find a better position in the same company. Your work experience will also be useful in finding a better job, since most large firms prefer to hire those who already have an exposure to accounting firms.
Start from the bottom, and the only way to go is up.
